Category mapping
- Suggested spec (auto):
other - Confirmed spec:
physiotherapy-osteopathy-chiropractic - All returned Places types:
health,point_of_interest,establishment
(Google's second listing carries the richer label alternative_medicine_practitioner,
visible in the Maps share URL supplied by the operator.)
Reasoning
The Places types are too generic to map mechanically, so the decision comes from the dossier:
- Treatment-series model, not a wellness drop-in. A structured 10-session programme with an
anamnesis first session, each session building on the last — this is the physio/osteo booking and
content pattern (first visit, what to expect, series), not the massage "pick a treatment, book 60
minutes" pattern.
- Insurance and credentials matter to conversion. EMR recognition, supplementary-insurance
reimbursement, IDAH and Medgate affiliation, documented training. The physio spec's Pricing/Insurance
and credentials-led trust signals map directly; massage.md has no equivalent.
- Visitors arrive with named conditions. Back pain, scoliosis, disc herniation, plantar fasciitis,
migraine, post-accident aftercare — this is the spec's "Conditions Treated" high-intent SEO surface.
- Athlete segment is explicit on the site and in a review, matching the spec's sports-rehab angle.
Rejected: massage (no series/insurance/conditions structure), reflexology (single-modality wellness
framing, and the portfolio already has silvia-jayet-reflexologie — reusing it invites convergence),
other (loses the conversion mechanics that actually fit).
Deviations from the spec's sitemap
- No Team page. Single practitioner — Team folds into About ("Über mich"), which is a strong page
here given his personal story.
- Two locations, one practitioner, different days. The spec's optional "Locations" page is
promoted to a first-class concern: location choice is effectively *day-of-week* choice
(Oerlikon vs Baden), which is a booking decision, not just an address. This needs to be explicit in
the hero and in the booking flow.
- "Conditions Treated" becomes a section within the method page plus a dedicated page only if the
client wants the SEO surface — the source content supports it (a long, specific complaint list).
- Journal/Neuheiten retained (spec's optional Blog) — he already publishes and the Instagram
quote-card habit feeds it.
